Publishing Ireland was delighted to attend the annual Irish Book Trade Conference earlier this month!
The Irish Book Trade Conference in 2025 was hosted by Bookselling Ireland & Publishing Ireland, taking place on the 10 and 11 February at The Galmont Hotel – Lough Atalia Rd, Galway, H91 CYN3, Ireland.
This year’s conference saw more than 200 booksellers, publishers and other book industry professionals come together.
Alongside the business sessions there were lunches, a drinks reception and dinner on the first night; the perfect opportunities for fellow book trade peers to network and enjoy good company. The conference returned as a 2-day event encompassing a bookshop tour, a trade show with Irish Publishers, our annual Fever Pitch to Booksellers event, a keynote speech from Laureate na nÓg, Patricia Forde, a market report from Nielsen IQ, and more.
