Publishing Ireland was delighted to attend the annual London Book Fair alongside representatives from Banshee Press, Cló Iar-Chonnacht, Lilliput Press, Mercier Press, Merrion Press, New Island Books, O’Brien Press, Photo Museum Ireland, Royal Irish Academy, and Wordwell Group two weeks ago.
Aside from promoting Irish publishing, we are proud to announce that we also successfully fulfilled our mission of meeting and forging connections with as many people as we could find (be it those who swung by our stand or those we ran into away from it), attending as many events as humanly possible, and preparing as best as we could for the year ahead. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and already miss last week as much as we are looking forward to next year.
We would like to once more thank Literature Ireland and Culture Ireland for organising the Irish national stand and funding our participation at this event.
